Oral Hygiene
Good oral hygiene is essential for a lifetime of healthy teeth. At Veemarkt Dental Practice, our dental hygienist plays a crucial role in preventing oral problems and maintaining a fresh, clean mouth.
Prevention
We strongly believe in preventing problems. Our prevention assistants play a crucial role in this. Our specialized professionals work closely with dentists and dental hygienists to help you keep your mouth healthy and ahead of problems.
Endodontics (Root canal treatment)
Sometimes the inner part of a tooth, the pulp, becomes inflamed or infected. This can happen due to deep cavities, a leaking filling, a hard blow to the tooth or other causes. In such a case, root canal treatment (also called endodontics) may be necessary to preserve the tooth.
Orthodontics
Orthodontics focuses on correcting crooked teeth and optimizing the position of the jaws. A straight smile is not only aesthetically pleasing, but also contributes to better oral health. In fact, properly positioned teeth are easier to keep clean and reduce the risk of problems such as cavities and gum disease, and provide better bite function.
Rates
Our rates are set nationwide by the Dutch Healthcare Authority (NZa). This means that the costs for dental treatments are the same everywhere in the Netherlands. We do not deviate from this.

The practice sends and collects its own bills for the care you have had with us. In doing so, we obviously comply with all applicable laws and regulations. For the payment conditions we follow the general payment conditions for dental care in the Netherlands. These can be found on the website of the KNMT (Royal Dutch Dental Association).
Working with your health insurance company
At Veemarkt Dental Practice, we strive to make the financial process as smooth as possible. This is why we work closely with virtually all health insurance companies.
How does it work?
After your treatment, we submit the costs directly to your health insurance company. The amount reimbursed by your insurance depends on your age, the type of treatment and the specific terms of your policy.
What do you pay yourself?
We will then charge you for the portion of the costs not covered by your health insurance company. On the invoice you receive from us, you will see exactly which amount is covered by your insurance and the remaining amount you have to pay yourself. You have 14 days to do this. Do you need more time to pay your invoice? Then you can discuss a free payment arrangement with us.
