Root canal treatment

Tooth or molar retained

Endodontology (root canal treatment) is essential for preserving your tooth.

Sometimes the inner part of a tooth, the pulp, becomes inflamed or infected. This can happen from deep cavities, a leaking filling, a hard blow to the tooth or other causes. In such a case, endodontics (a root canal treatment) may be necessary to preserve the tooth.

At Veemarkt Dental Practice, we perform root canal treatments with great care. During treatment, the inflamed or infected tissue is removed from the root canal. The canals are thoroughly cleaned, disinfected and then sealed with special filling material. Our goal is to effectively fight the inflammation and preserve the tooth for as long as possible, often eliminating the need for extraction.

We understand that endodontics (root canal treatment) can sometimes sound exciting. We take the time to clearly explain to you what will happen and make sure the treatment is as comfortable and painless as possible, often under local anesthesia. You can be confident that you are in expert hands with us.
