Late cancellations or missed appointments

At Veemarkt Dental Practice, we strive to provide everyone with the best possible care. To this end, we plan our schedule carefully. Unfortunately, when an appointment is not cancelled on time, or someone does not show up, it affects both our other patients and our practice operations.

The reserved time then cannot be used for other patients who need urgent care. In addition, reserving time and resources incurs a cost to the practice.

Our Appointments and Rules
In accordance with the guidelines of the Dutch Healthcare Authority (NZa), we have the following rules for canceling appointments:

  • Appointments must be canceled by telephone at least 2 working days (48 hours) in advance.
  • If you do not cancel in time (within 2 working days, 48 hours), we will be forced to charge you for the cost of the appointment.
  • These costs are declared under NZa code C90.

 

  • An agreement made must (naturally) be honored.
  • If you fail to keep an appointment, we will be obliged to charge you for the cost of the appointment.
  • These costs are declared under NZa code C90.

As an additional service, we will send you an appointment reminder about a week in advance. Please note that not reading or receiving this reminder does not remove your own responsibility to keep the appointment or cancel in a timely manner.
